Lovely location 5 minutes walk from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The back yard where you eat breakfast is backed by a tall ancient wall and beyond that green. So very quiet and tranquil for breakfast and if your room faces the back. Amazing the owner of this boutique hotel drove us personally to the airport when he feared we wouldn’t make it in time because we didn’t allow enough time to get a taxi and travel there. Wonderful personal touch and friendly service throughout our stay by all the staff.

An elegant, neat new hotel located 5 mins walking distance from Hagia Sofia. I was planning to divide my stay between 2 hotels but decided to extend as the hotel is cozy and very pleasant to stay in. The hotel is a charming little boutique hotel, the rooms are tastefully furnished where everything is modern and functioning perfectly. The room was so clean with amazing toiletries, perfect shower and sparkling clean bathroom. Everyone is amazing, taking care of guests professionally and warmly at the same time. The hotel manager Mr. Riant who speaks like 4 or 5 languages perfectly, attends to all details personally. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I was sick so they got me medicines from the pharmacy twice. The breakfast is excellent, it has all what is needed and there were new items every day. The location is perfect, less than 10 mins from Sultan Ahmet tram stop, yet it is in a very quiet street so you get a break from the crowd of the city. My room was on the gorgeous inner court, it must be really nice to sit in it in summer. whenever in Istanbul again, I know where to stay. So many thanks to everyone at the hotel who made my stay so enjoyable.

The team and staff is exceptionally kind and professional. Again, the professionalism is outstanding. They always have a smile for you and treat you as a part of their family. They greeted us with tea and sweets upon arrival, shared recommendations (not trying to sell anything at all) for restaurants and sightseeing spots and supported us with booking an affordable cap to the airport. For breakfast you get asked every morning if you would like fresh made omlet, scrambled eggs or menemen. In addition, you can chose from a variety of fruits, bread, sweet/salty spreads. The location of the hotel is perfect. If you’re okay with walking around by foot, you can easily reach all main sightseeing activities within 20-30min in Sultanahmet area.

Hotel Turkish House is located in the historical region of Istanbul, 5min from the Blue Mosque and perfect for a first trip to Istanbul to meet the city. The building was very recently refurbished and the rooms are very clean and perfectly equipped, particularly the new bathrooms. The service is excellent, even lending us IstanbulCards for local transport and arranging the pickup and transfer back to the Airport on a short notice. A highlight was the included breakfast, which included freshly prepared omlettes, grilled cheeses and sausages and a dish similar to shakshuka. Also included was a selection of cookies and turkish tea in the breakfast room throughtout the day. On sunny mornings the breakfast could be enjoyed in the patio in the back of the building, which is also a great place for the afternoon coffee.

One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Beautiful architecture of the building, excellent location and perfect professional staff. The room is always clean, the staff is ready to help with any situation. It was nice to get treats and tea after a long flight, which were not included at all when booking. Very hearty and delicious breakfasts, Alyona is always ready to tell about the dishes and recommend something, taking into account the needs of the guest. It is also impossible not to say about the wonderful Gökhan, very interesting and gave his recommendations on restaurants, routes around the city, which greatly facilitated my journey, and also treated me to traditional treats and it was nice to chat.In addition, I managed to get acquainted with the owner of the hotel, who talked about herself and her brainchild-the hotel. Architecture and internal structure, the interior of the hotel amazes and inspires. I definitely recommend this hotel and I myself will stay in it more than once! Thank you!

The staff was amazing and were warm and welcoming without being invasive. We were there 10 nights. We never felt they were selling us anything merely suggesting things that might be of interested. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, not always the case in much more expensive hotels. The location was perfect for walking to all the key highlights and we found Istanbul so easy to navigate. They always treated us with tea and sweets! They gave us good recommendations, one we liked so much, we went back twice! I left something behind and they went above and beyond to ensure I got it back and followed up every step of the way. I travel a lot and typically if you leave something behind of any value - it's gone. The staff was the stand out for us, just really wonderful ,everyone of them!

I liked everything in this hotel: - location: historical centre combined with many nice small cafes, shops and restaurants with view on Bosporus, and with close proximity to all sights. And at the same time very quiet place for hotel; - hotel rooms- recently renovated, small but clean and cosy, with comfortable bed and pillows, with small fridge and safe. - service- all staff is VERY friendly and ready to help, give advice etc. My special thanks to Chisam! The breakfast is good (but it is the same every day, just as a notice). Interesting - The dining room has some part of its floor in glass showing some historical bricks underneath. I definitely will stay here again being in Istanbul.

We only stayed for 1 night at Hotel Turkish house, but overall it’s a lovely hotel in Istanbul. We did not get to enjoy breakfast since we had a very early morning flight. It’s roughly a 15 minute walk to the Sultanahmet square and the grand bazaar. The room was clean, and they provided us with bathrobes which added a nice cozy touch to the short experience. My only complaint was that the overnight staff called our room in the middle of the night (close to midnight) to inform us that they had a duplicate charge for our stay, so they were reversing it. While I appreciated being informed about this, I felt this did not warrant a phone call that woke us up from our sleep the night before an early flight. Overall, it was a lovely hotel to stay in Istanbul.

The hotel is located in an old neighbourhood that is very close to all tourist attractions, yet it is situated in an area that is quiet and calm so you are not bothered by the loud traffic noise. When you walk through the alleys, you come across very old houses still inhabited by people. If you love history and old construction style, you would love walking through the maze of streets. You will find plenty of food options/ shopping places close to the hotel. The beach is 8 min walk from he hotel. It has a small but nice and quiet garden area where you can take your morning or evening tree/coffee, read a book and spend some quality time with yourself. The hotel staff was kind, nice and brilliant. Mr Gokhan was amazing, I had lovely conversations with him. Every day when I return from my daily strolls, he would so generously offer me Turkish tea with cookies and suggest options for making my tour more eventful. The breakfast was amazing and lives fully up to the expectation of a delightful Turkish breakfast. If you are going to Turkey for a brief stay, Hotel Turkish House could be your best option to stay.

The hotel is very well-designed and decorated (and new as well). It is built on an ancient ruin, and you could literally see the thousand years old rocks underneath through the glass floor in the dining room. Also, the location is a 10, and it only takes 5 mins to walk to the blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. We had everything we needed in the room, and the mattress was exceptionally comfortable. I also loved the big nightstands with spacious drawers. I can feel the designer really put a lot of thought into making this place feel likes home. Breakfast is a must, especially the individually cooked omelette. All are welcoming and helpful, the manager in particular. We ask the hotel to book the airport transfer, and it’s so convenient (and so much better than arguing with the rude taxi driver that we have experienced several time in the city). Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice hotel to stay in Istanbul.
